Key Features
- Clamping stroke of 275 mm and 625 mm daylight opening for PET preform and jar moulds 150 to 350 mm thick
- Two screw options: the 27 mm screw reaches 2,500 kg/cm² injection pressure and the 32 mm screw gives shots up to 116 g (PS)
- Tie-bar space of 350 × 323 mm and platens of 550 × 510 mm, to fit preform and jar moulds
- Hydraulic ejector with 75 mm stroke and 3.6 tons force for preform and jar ejection
- Heating capacity of 7 kW, servo motor of 10.5 kW and total connected load of 17.5 kW
- Optional hopper dryer / loader and robot unit for PET drying and part handling
Applications
The PET 75 Ton suits small PET parts and low-cavity preform moulds, where a compact mould and a short shot are enough. It is also a practical machine for trial moulds and short runs of new bottle designs. Very high cavity preform production also depends on the mould, hot runner and post-mould cooling, so discuss these with our engineers when sizing the machine.

FAQs / Buyer Questions
The answers our engineers give most often about the PET 75 Ton, before a specification is agreed.
What Is the PET 75 Ton Injection Moulding Machine?
It is a horizontal injection moulding machine from Pratishna Engineers for PET raw material, based on the E Series 75 Ton. It is the entry model in the PET range, built for small preforms, wide-mouth jar preforms and small PET and PETG parts in low-cavity moulds. What PET Products Can I Mould on a 75 Ton Machine?
Typical PET work includes preforms for small pharmaceutical and personal care bottles, small wide-mouth jar preforms, PETG cosmetic jars and lids, and trial or short-run preform moulds. How Do I Know if 75 Ton Is Enough for My Preform or PET Part?
Required clamping force depends on the projected area of all cavities, injection pressure and material, with a safety factor. For preform moulds, mould height, cavity pitch and hot runner size within the tie-bar space often decide the machine as much as clamping force. Share your preform or part drawing and mould details and Pratishna Engineers will confirm whether the PET 75 Ton is suitable. What Are the Screw Options on the PET 75 Ton?
The PET 75 Ton is available with two screws: the 27 mm screw gives an 82 g shot at up to 2,500 kg/cm²; the 32 mm screw gives a 116 g shot at up to 1,780 kg/cm². Clamping, ejector and general specifications are common to all screw options. Shot weights are given for PS. PET is denser in the melt, so the same swept volume gives a heavier PET shot; the PET shot weight and the screw and barrel configuration for PET are confirmed for each enquiry. Why Must PET Be Dried Before Moulding?
PET absorbs moisture from the air. Moisture left in the granules breaks down the polymer in the barrel, lowering its intrinsic viscosity (IV) and giving brittle or hazy parts. PET is normally dried in a dehumidifying dryer to below about 50 ppm moisture before moulding, following the resin supplier’s drying conditions. A hopper dryer and loader is available as an optional feature.
What Mould Size Fits the PET 75 Ton?
The PET 75 Ton takes moulds 150 to 350 mm thick within a tie-bar space of 350 × 323 mm, on platens of 550 × 510 mm, with a 625 mm daylight opening. If 75 Ton Is Not the Right Size, What Other Options Are There?
The PET range also offers 100 Ton, 125 Ton, 150 Ton, 180 Ton, 220 Ton and 260 Ton models. For other plastics, the same machine is available as the 75 Ton Horizontal Injection Moulding Machine (E Series).Does Pratishna Provide Installation and After-Sales Support?
Yes. Installation, commissioning, operator training, spare parts and after-sales technical support are provided as part of Pratishna’s machine lifecycle services. How Do I Get a Price for the PET 75 Ton?
Share your preform or part drawing, PET grade, part weight, mould dimensions, cavities, hot runner details, production quantity and cycle time, and Pratishna Engineers will evaluate the configuration and provide a quotation.
