Baby care products are moulded in food-grade, BPA-free materials such as PP, PPSU and Tritan copolyester, so the screw, barrel and temperature control should be matched to the material. PPSU, for example, is processed at much higher melt temperatures than PP.

Small parts such as bottle caps, spoons, pacifier shields, nasal aspirators and carrier buckles suit the E Series (75-180 T), often in multi-cavity moulds. Milk powder containers suit the C Series, and larger parts such as potties and stroller parts may need the H Series. Baby chairs and bath tubs have large projected areas and suit the PHM Series two-platen machines, subject to part size. The right machine depends on projected area, cavities, material and output.

Feeding bottle bodies, caps, sippers and snack cups are small to medium parts, and caps are often moulded in multi-cavity moulds. A machine is selected by projected area, cavities, shot weight, material and output, and is usually in the E Series range.Can Pratishna Machines Produce Baby Spoons, Pacifier Shields and Feeders?
Yes. Spoons, forks, pacifier shields, fruit feeders and nasal aspirator bodies in PP or PC can be produced with the right clamping force, injection unit and mould configuration. Silicone tips and teats are separate parts moulded from liquid silicone rubber.What Plastic Materials Are Used for Baby Care Products?
Common materials include food-grade PP, HDPE and PC, with PPSU and Tritan copolyester for premium, sterilisable bottles and sippers, and POM or glass-filled PA for buckles and stroller joints.
