Injection Moulding Machine Manufacturer — Andheri East, Mumbai, India

Injection-moulded office & printing components

Injection Moulding Machines for Office & Printing Products

Pratishna Engineers makes injection moulding machines extensively used for producing plastic parts for printers, copiers, printing consumables and office products. Typical parts include toner cartridge frames and hoppers, ink cartridge housings, cartridge gears and drive couplings, toner shutters, CISS ink tanks and valves, printer internal parts, housing panels, pen barrels and filing hardware, many of which must fit precisely into the printer and seal against toner or ink.

Pratishna Engineers is one of the top and trusted injection moulding machine manufacturers for office and printing products in India. Headquartered in Mumbai, Pratishna has 35+ years of experience and more than 9,000 machines supplied to over 1,000 customers, offering horizontal and hybrid machines for printing consumables, printer parts and office products, backed by in-house engineering and after-sales support.

The right machine depends on the component, plastic material, part weight, mould size, number of cavities and production volume. Cartridge bodies carry many locating features that must match the printer, cartridge gears follow gear tolerances, and ink cartridge materials such as modified PPO, PP and POM are chosen for ink compatibility first. These parts need repeatable shot weight and stable shrinkage, while pens and clips run in 16 to 48 cavity moulds where cycle time sets the cost.

Office & Printing Plastic Components

A range of printing consumable, printer and office product components can be manufactured on Pratishna injection moulding machines:

  • Toner Bottle

  • Printer Cartridge Body (toner cartridge frame, hopper and waste section)

  • Ink Cartridge Housing

  • Cartridge Gear, Roller Flange and Drive Coupling

  • Toner Seal, Shutter and Hopper Cap

  • Waste Toner Container

  • Ink Tank, Refill Bottle Cap and Valve (CISS)

  • Printer Internal Part (paper guide, tray, roller holder, lever)

  • Printer / Copier Housing Panel and Cover (small)

  • Pen Barrel, Cap and Mechanism

  • Filing and Desk Hardware (binder ring housing, clip, file spine, organiser)

Recommended Machines for Office & Printing Components

Toner shutters, seals, hopper caps, printer internal parts and filing hardware are small to medium parts suited to the E Series (75-180 T). Toner cartridge bodies, toner bottles, waste toner containers and printer housing panels have larger projected areas and may need the H Series. Ink cartridge housings, cartridge gears and drive couplings, CISS valves and pen mechanisms need tight, repeatable dimensions and suit the Hybrid machines. The right machine depends on projected area, cavities, material and output.

FAQs / Buyer Questions

The answers our engineers give most often about moulding office and printing components.

  • Which Injection Moulding Machine Is Used for Toner Cartridge Bodies?
Toner cartridge frames, hoppers and waste sections in HIPS, ABS or PC/ABS are medium to large parts with many locating protrusions and recesses that must match the printer. A machine is selected by projected area, shot weight and mould size, and these parts usually need H Series machines.
  • Can Pratishna Machines Produce Ink Cartridges and CISS Parts?
Yes. Ink cartridge housings, CISS ink tanks, refill bottle caps and valves in modified PPO, PP, PE or POM can be produced on Hybrid or E Series machines. Valves and seats must not weep over the shelf life, so resin compatibility with the ink is checked at storage temperature.
  • What Plastic Materials Are Used for Office and Printing Parts?
Common materials include HIPS, ABS and PC/ABS for cartridge bodies and panels, FR ABS near the fuser and power supply, HDPE, PP or PET for toner bottles, modified PPO, PP, PE and POM for ink cartridges, POM, PA66 and PBT for gears and couplings, and PS, ABS, PP and POM for pens and filing hardware.
  • Which Tonnage Is Suitable for Printer Panels and Waste Toner Containers?
It depends on part size, wall thickness and projected area. Small printer covers and desktop waste toner containers usually need H Series machines, while full printer top covers and large copier panels should be checked against the mould size first.
  • Can These Machines Produce Cartridge Gears and Drive Couplings?
Yes. Cartridge gears, roller flanges and drive couplings in POM, PA66 or PBT are precision parts where tooth form and shrinkage compensation follow gear rules. Hybrid machines suit these parts for repeatable injection and stable dimensions.
  • Can Pratishna Machines Produce Pens and Filing Hardware?
Yes. Pen barrels, caps and click mechanisms run in 16 to 48 cavity moulds, and binder ring housings, clips, file spines and organisers are high-volume commodity parts. Cycle time and cavity count set the cost, and POM click parts need consistent feel over thousands of cycles.
  • Which Pratishna Series Suits Office & Printing Applications?
The E Series (75-180 T) suits small parts and office hardware, the H Series covers cartridge bodies, toner bottles and panels, and Hybrid machines suit ink cartridges, gears, CISS valves and pen mechanisms.
  • How Do I Get a Machine Recommendation for My Office or Printing Component?
Share your product, material, part weight, mould dimensions, cavities, production quantity and cycle time, and Pratishna Engineers will recommend a suitable machine and quotation.
