Injection Moulding Machines for Textile Components
Pratishna Engineers manufactures injection moulding machines extensively used in manufacturing plastic components for spinning, winding, dyeing, weaving and garment mills. Typical parts include winding and dye cones, ring frame and roving bobbins, perforated HTHP dye tubes, compressible dye springs, spools, sewing machine bobbins, creel pegs, yarn guides, sliver can parts and warp beam flanges, most of which must fit a specific textile machine and run true at high spindle speeds.
Pratishna Engineers is one of the top and trusted injection moulding machine manufacturers for textile components in India. The Mumbai-based company has 35+ years of experience and has supplied 9,000+ machines to 1,000+ customers, offering horizontal and hybrid machines for yarn packages, dyeing accessories and textile machinery parts, backed by in-house engineering and after-sales support.
The right machine depends on the component, plastic material, part weight, mould size, number of cavities and production volume. Textile parts are dimension-driven: cones are made to fixed angles such as 3°30, 4°20 and 5°57, bobbins are matched to frames such as LMW, Toyoda and Howa, and dye tubes and springs must survive repeated HTHP dyeing at 130 degrees C. Stable shrinkage and repeatable dimensions decide whether parts fit the machine and run without vibration.

Textile Plastic Components
A range of yarn package, dyeing, winding and textile machinery components can be manufactured on Pratishna injection moulding machines:
Textile Cone (winding cone / dye cone)
Bobbin (ring frame, roving, simplex and TFO bobbins)
Perforated Tube (HTHP yarn dye tube)
Spool (thread, sewing and texturising spools)
Compressible Dye Spring / Collapsible Dye Tube
Sewing Machine Bobbin
Cone Holder, Creel Peg and Adaptor
Yarn Guide, Tensioner and Traverse Components
Fabric Roll Core End Plug and Cap
Sliver Can Components (base, castor, ring, spring plate)
Textile Trolley, Package Tray and Transport Insert
Warp Beam Flange, Disc and Sample Beam Parts
Recommended Machines for Textile Components
Textile cones, bobbins, spools, dye springs, creel pegs, adaptors and roll core end plugs are small to medium parts suited to the E Series (75-180 T). Perforated dye tubes, sliver can parts, package trays and warp beam flanges have larger projected areas and may need the H Series. Sewing machine bobbins and yarn guides, tensioners and traverse parts need tight, repeatable dimensions and suit the Hybrid machines.

FAQs / Buyer Questions
The answers our engineers give most often about moulding textile components.
Which Injection Moulding Machine Is Used for Textile Cones and Bobbins?
Winding cones, dye cones and ring frame, roving, simplex and TFO bobbins in PP copolymer, PP-GF or ABS usually run on E Series machines. Cone taper angle and bobbin bore, length and run-out are the controlled dimensions, so the enquiry starts with the cone angle or the frame model the bobbin must fit.Can Pratishna Machines Produce HTHP Dye Tubes and Dye Springs?
Yes. Perforated dye tubes and compressible dye springs in PP, PP-GF or PPO/PPE can be produced on E or H Series machines. They must keep their shape and spring rate through repeated dyeing at 130 degrees C under package compression, so material grade and consistent wall thickness are critical. What Plastic Materials Are Used for Textile Components?
Common materials include PP copolymer and PP-GF for cones, bobbins and dye tubes, PPO/PPE for high-temperature dye tubes and springs, PS, PC and ABS for spools and sewing bobbins, POM, PA66-GF, PBT and PPS for yarn guides and tensioners, and HDPE or recycled PP for trays, plugs and caps.Which Tonnage Is Suitable for Warp Beam Flanges and Package Trays?
It depends on part diameter, wall thickness and projected area. Warp beam flanges, sliver can bases and package trays usually need H Series machines. Flange flatness and run-out control how the warp builds, so fibre orientation and gate position are chosen to keep the disc flat.
Can These Machines Produce Sewing Machine Bobbins and Yarn Guides?
Yes. Sewing machine bobbins in PS, PC or POM and yarn guides and tensioners in POM or filled nylon suit Hybrid machines, where flange flatness, balance and smooth surfaces decide stitch quality and yarn wear. The highest-wear guide eyes are usually ceramic and are not moulded. How Do You Keep Textile Parts Running True at High Speed?
Balance and concentricity depend on uniform wall thickness, balanced gating and stable shrinkage from cavity to cavity. Burr-free edges prevent yarn snags, and parts for specific machine models should be checked against the frame or winder before production.Which Pratishna Series Suits Textile Applications?
The E Series (75-180 T) suits cones, bobbins, spools and small parts, the H Series covers dye tubes, trays and warp beam flanges, and Hybrid machines suit sewing bobbins and yarn guide parts. How Do I Get a Machine Recommendation for My Textile Component?
